A of tourists off the coast of Kona, Hawaii, were mesmerized as they spotted a pod of whales breaching in front of them.

Gabriella Gerbasi captured the spectacular sight and said: "I was out diving with friends in Kona when three whales started breaching right next to our boat and put on a show for us.

"Whales were everywhere. I didn’t see them in the water but you could hear them singing as soon as you put your head underwater. It was literally the perfect day."
