President Jokowi Leads the Ceremony of the Night of Sacred Meditation Ahead of Indonesia's 76th Anniversary

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) acted as an inspector for the ceremony leading the ceremony of honour and sacred reflection at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP), South Jakarta. Jokowi prays for the heroes who have passed away.
The prayer was carried out at midnight, precisely at 00.00 WIB, August 17, 2021. According to Jokowi's records, there were 10,190 heroes buried at the Kalibata TMP. When approaching the ceremony of honour and sacred reflection, the traffic flow around TMP Kalibata was closed to welcome President Jokowi's arrival, at around 22.30 WIB. The President's entourage then arrived at the Kalibata TMP at around 23.40 WIB.
