One expert who witnessed this incident in Schoden, Germany had the following to say: "There are unspoken rules in paragliding, e.g. if a pilot finds the thermal first, that person has the right to decide the direction of rotation and a number of other things. In this case, the other paraglider didn't act as per expectations and hence the accident took place."

Thankfully, the collision didn't lead to any major problems and both pilots including GoPro filmer Keisuke Fushimi were able to land safely.

The incident took place in February 2020.
