A paraglider in North Macedonia misjudged their landing seeing them slam headfirst into a tree.

Footage shows Simona crash landing her paraglider into a tree as she attempted to land.

"The crash happened near Lake Ohrid in Macedonia on the landing area," the filmer said.

"I was there to train some manoeuvres and improve my skills but unfortunately, I misjudged the landing approach, haha.

"I am really lucky that I wasn't hurt badly in this collision. In fact, I was feeling perfect in no time!"

This footage was filmed in June 2019.
