This Michigan-based photographer reveals how he captures magical photos of flowers INSIDE drops of water.

In a behind-the-scenes video, Amthel Al-Dayni shows how he makes use of refraction to achieve his stunning effect.

He also shares how he achieved a shot of an ant drinking from a water drop with a flower inside it.

"I was born in Baghdad, Iraq and moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2010," says Al-Dayni.

"Photography has been a part of my entire life. My lack of confidence as a young boy was always telling me that I can only express my love of photography by looking at beautiful images not really making them," he adds.

In 2017, he decided to give it a shot and learned his craft from watching hours of YouTube videos.

Now, he's a big social media star himself.

"I have close to a half-million followers that are learning from every video I post," he says.

Al-Dayni says his beautiful results can be achieved by anyone with a smartphone camera and a macro lens or a DSLR.
