Tornado rips through village damaging dozens of homes in China
10月1日下午，山东烟台牟平昆嵛镇东殿后村遭龙卷风袭击，村里的十二根电线杆被大风刮断，全村停电。事发现场视频显示，龙卷风在一村庄漫天狂卷呼啸而过，许多大块的杂物被刮起随风旋转。龙卷风过后，有村民的房顶被龙卷风掀翻，只有几根房梁裸露在外面，损失严重。据村民介绍，当天不仅有龙卷风还伴有冰雹，好在持续时间都不长，没有人员伤亡报告。
10月2日，东殿后村村民解先生告诉记者，1日下午两点钟左右刮起龙卷风，全村约有四百多户，分为新房区和旧房区，这次受龙卷风灾的主要是旧房区的村民。旧房区约有200户左右，大都受了灾，有村民屋顶的瓦片全被掀翻，有屋顶损坏严重只剩下房梁。解先生表示自己住在新房区，没有受到太大影响，但是村里的电线杆被风刮断，全村断电，电力公司的人前来抢修，当晚11点左右家里恢复了供电。
