A brave rescuer freed a sand boa trapped in a plastic bottle in southern India on Sunday (October 18).

The three-foot-snake got stuck in a discarded plastic bottle in a local backyard in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Residents sent for help and eventually, someone came to rescue the poor animal by carefully cutting open the bottle.

The snake was later released in a nearby forest.

This morning a call came in.. that the owner of the house had informed that there was a three-foot snake boa trapped in plastic bottle in the backyard.. so that I rushed to that area and I saw that trapped snake.. I saw him suffering.. so I took a scissors and cut the bottle without causing any injury to the snake.. Then immediately I took the snake to forest area.. Because there are many anti socials in who are all waiting to sell this type of snake boa for about crores illegally.. so I'm happy with that..
