'Large crowds gathered in central London on the morning of October 23, 2021, to greet "Little Amal," a gigantic puppet representing a 9-year-old Syrian refugee girl on the lookout for her mother.

The 3.5-meter doll has been walking across Europe since July (2021) as the team behind her strives to raise awareness about the struggles of refugees.

"This video shows migrant puppet, Little Amal walking past a London bus as she greets waiting crowds and media outside St Paul’s Cathedral on her walk from Syria to Manchester," the filmer, Japhet Asher wrote.

Japhet also stressed that every refugee should receive such a warm welcome.

If things keep going according to plan, Little Amal's 3-month+ walk across the continent should end in Manchester on November 3.
