He adds: “Reaching out to others that are in a situation like this at this moment is very important step for our society towards being a better society.

“Society that reaches out when someone is really in need without asking who he is or from where he is coming. We just se that he is an individual that needs help and we help. That´s a society I want to live in”.

He later explained his video online, saying: "I am a police officer in the Reykjavik police in Iceland.

"There had been a lot of discussion in the society of the refugee crisis in Europe and a lot of people are afraid of what could happen to our little nation if we open the country for refugees and then how many we can welcome, if any at all.

Because of that I decided to shoot this video one day at work because I wanted to bring this message to the nation in the hope to unite people and getting them ready for the refugees that will be coming in the near future."
