A street dog pounced at a four-year-old amid a road in central India's Madhya Pradesh on October 27. The incident took place in Ratlam.

Visuals feature the little girl standing in the middle of a street covered with houses on either side. Within moments, a stray dog enters the scene and approaches the infant. Following this, the rabid canine pounces on the poor thing, pinning her down to the ground. Meanwhile, a man sitting outside his house shoos the dog away.

The dog absconded from the scene after the neighbor chased it away. Following this, he tended to the girl while several women came out of their houses upon hearing the commotion. Later, the locals rushed the little girl to medical attention.
