A major incident has been declared after two trains collided in Salisbury in the south of England. Around a dozen people are reported to have been injured. A train driver is reported to be trapped, according to the BBC.

Video filmed on Sunday evening at 8:30pm shows emergency services at the scene. The footage was filmed from London Road, looking south towards the incident at Fisherton Tunnel.

British Transport Police tweeted: “We are currently responding to an incident at Fisherton Tunnel, Salisbury. Officers were called at 6.46pm this evening following reports a train derailed. We are on scene alongside paramedics and the fire brigade.”

Great Western Railway and South Western Railway both tweeted the same statement, saying the incident involved the 1708 GWR service between Portsmouth Harbour and Bristol Temple Meads and the 1720 SWR service from London Waterloo to Honiton.
