A football supporter captured the moment a wayward penalty hit an unsuspecting steward square in the face.

Glynn Cooper was recording Yeovil Town's Tom Knowles' terrible penalty that ended up hitting an unfortunate steward standing near the goal.

The hilarious incident occurred during a shoot out between Yeovil and Weymouth on October 19 in a FA Cup qualifying round.

Cooper said: "The steward took it really well."

During the penalty shootout between Weymouth and Yeovil at the Bob Lucas Stadium on night of the 19th October, Tom Knowles struck his penalty which hit an unsuspecting steward in the face.

The crowd cheered in ascendancy as the martial threw his arms in the air in celebration.
