An adorable video has emerged of a baby goat and a Muntjac deer forming an unlikely friendship.

In the footage, captured on a farm in the US on Sunday, the tiny goat licks and nibbles the little deer’s ears.

“Liddy Bug our super sweet and gentle 19-week-old Muntjac deer lets a 4-day-old baby Nigerian Dwarf goat lick and nibble on her ear,” the filmer later wrote online.

“Liddy Bug is the sweetest and most gentle pet, she wouldn't hurt a fly. She loves to be petted and doesn't mind this newborn goat to nibble on her. We have had Liddy Bug since she was 2 weeks old and she has a strong bond with us and will run to us and "squeak" when she hears us coming.”
