Car slams into stairs and flips over after motorist accidentally presses accelerator in China
A car crashed into stairs and flipped over as a motorist pressed the accelerator by mistake in China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Zhongshan in Guangdong Province on November 27 shows the car flipping over after hitting the stairs.
Two people sitting around a table outside a bubble tea shop suddenly stood up when the car flipped over behind them.
Since two people in the car both wore seatbelts, they were not injured.
The motorist reportedly only had experience of driving manual cars and she bought the automatic car less than a week ago.
The motorist pressed the accelerator instead of the brake by mistake when turning a corner, causing the incident.
The motorist’s husband lost a tooth in the incident.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
