This is probably unique ! In Sion Switzerland there's a surfer's pool , Alaïa Bay, a place to surf... it is open air... and so if it snows, you can surf during snow. This was last sunday 28 november 2021 in the evening. It started to snow . Not heavy snow but still a great opportunity to take images of surfers while it is snowing. Can't wait to return when there's going to be a big big snowstorm or blizzard. It often snows in the nearby mountains around Sion, at higher altitude, but Sion being at 500m elevation we get more rain here than snow at the bottom of the valley. The surf spot is right next to Sion airport. You can look up webcams to see if it snows. Surfs up !
