Kind-hearted residents held up a steel frame that was blown over by strong winds to avoid a parked car being crushed in eastern China.

Video shot in the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province on November 30 shows a group of people holding a steel frame that was blown over by the strong winds to protect a car parked under it.

According to reports, the car owner Ms Ge parked her car there and went shopping with her friends.

Since she left her number on her car, the residents called her to come back to drive her car away.

It took Ge around half an hour to go back to her car and the residents held the falling steel frame for her during that time.

Ge said she was touched by the kind-hearted residents.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
