Several locals were spotted stealing carcasses of goats after a dreadful road accident in central India's Madhya Pradesh on January 2. The incident took place in Kankarkhedi in Sironj.

Visuals feature the locals ensuing a stampede-like situation to grab goats for their grand feast after a truck overturns on the roadside. Following this, the cops stationed on the spot begin to baton-charge them as they cause chaos while stealing the carcasses from the accident spot. Meanwhile, the locals run helter-skelter to avoid the beating after abandoning their bikes on the side of the road.

The goat-laden truck, travelling from Shivpuri to Hyderabad, met with an accident near Sironj. Moreover, a man, identified as Sachin Khatik, succumbed to his injuries after getting trapped beneath the vehicle. Following this, the locals began to rob the vehicle instead of helping the casualties and fled the spot after stealing the goats. This incident left the cops with no option but to lathi-charge on the civilians to disperse the crowd and control the situation.
