Heavy flooding in Accra, Ghana

“A newly completed section of a dual carriageway in Accra (Palmwine Junction area in Labadi) got flooded during a storm,” the filter later wrote online.
"The flooding was caused by a combination of a lot of rain and inadequate drainage systems.
"The road has been under construction for over 2 years and it is still incomplete in sections."
According to news reports, heavy rain has caused chaos in Accra, leaving many suburbs submerged and people stranded.
