Goldfish that were purchased online froze to death after being delivered to a customer in northern China where temperatures were around minus 15 degrees Celsius.

Video filmed in the city of Daqing in Heilongjiang Province on January 12 shows goldfish bought online by a woman named Ms Huang frozen in a bag.

Huang can be heard saying: "The goldfish I bought online are all frozen. I don't know if they can come back to life. Let's take a look."

Huang then defrosted the frozen goldfish in water, according to the seller's suggestion, but only one of them came back to life.

The seller has already fully refunded Huang.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
