Enthralling rescue of a huge and deadly spectacled cobra in Mysore, India
Daring footage from Mysore in Karnataka, India, shows a snake expert capturing a ferocious spectacled cobra after a lengthy and dangerous battle of wits.
Mohammed Umar Shariff later released the deadly serpent into the wild on the same day -- 29 February 2020.
He described it as an unforgettable experience due to the snake's huge size.
After getting a call from someone concerned about the snake, of a type also called an Indian cobra, he headed to the site.
"Once I reached there I got to see the spectacled cobra coiled up in the corner of their entrance" he said, adding that "it was very aggressive and defensive".
But after a lengthy and complicated process, he was finally able to bag the beast and finally set it free in the countryside.
