Chinese man uses melon seeds to create Lunar New Year artwork
A man used melon seed shells to create a pattern of a tiger to welcome the Lunar New Year in northern China.
The video shows Mr Liu laying out plenty of melon seed shells on a table to create a pattern of a tiger.
The characters from the first pattern reads: “Happy New Year of the Tiger.”
The second pattern reads: “Tigers welcome the Spring”.
It took Mr Liu about two days to complete.
He said that the Year of the Tiger is a good start and means growing power. He has no painting experience before didn't expect the pattern to turn out so good.
The video was filmed on January 21 in Weifang, Shandong province, and provided by local media with permission.
