Pilots skilfully landed their aircraft on Birmingham, England’s runway despite strong winds that have hit the whole of the country on Saturday February 5.

The planes were seen ‘crabbing’ before landing. The technique is used so the plane can face into the wind, keeping in control until the last second where the pilots turn the aircraft straight to touch down onto the tarmac.

Once on the tarmac, the aircraft were observed rocking from side to side as the winds buffeted them.

Aircrafts have to deal with crosswinds which often make for a scary and bumpy landing at the West Midlands airport.
