In Bakhmut, in the Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines watch a promotional video made for their battalion to boost morale and also show what equipment they are using.

"Their spot is right ahead, over there, that's where they shoot at us," one soldier tells us in border trenches of Svetlodorsk, referring to the Russians.

Soldiers were wearing white clothing that helps them blend in better with the snow. They show us around their battalions in Svetlodorsk, one of which is located just 600 meters away from the Russian border.

Puppies are also living on the frontline. Soldiers say these so-called "trench pups” provide security, alerting them to danger, in addition to providing great companionship.

"Trench Pups” Puppies were also living on the Ukraine Front line. Soldiers say they provide security as an alarm in addition to them being great companionship.
