Man climbs high tension power supply line tower after being upset with family in central India
A man climbed on a high tension power supply line tower in central India's Madhya Pradesh on February 15. The incident took place in Kailaras town in Morena district.
Visuals feature the man sitting atop the high tension tower in daylight, ensuing chaos among those standing near the tower. However, upon being persuaded, he steps down from the tower while the police are stationed on the spot.
The man, identified as Lallu Kushwaha, a resident of Madhaupura, was upset with his family, following which he mounted the 132 KV tower and sat there. The police and the officials of the electricity department reached the spot and after an effort of more than two hours, the man was brought down. Moreover, it was alleged that he is mentally challenged and has committed such acts in the past.
