Protesters from the "Freedom Convoy" in the Canadian capital chased a video journalist away from the demonstration on Wednesday (February 16) after they suspected him of working for Canadian broadcaster Global News.

Footage showed protesters following the unidentified journalist screaming "fake news!" and "get out of here!" as he retreated from the scene with his camera.

Police said on Wednesday that the “illegal” blockade of downtown Ottawa would take time to clear although they promised to remove all remaining demonstrators and their vehicles that have been camped in the nation’s capital for the past 20 days.
