Hundreds have been left without power and access to their houses as the Brisbane river has broken its banks, footage filmed on March 1 shows.
This video is of the East Brisbane catchment area showing the high school and surrounding roads completely submerged. At the end of the video, a local resident is kayaking to access his house.
