Very Rare Summer Twilight Aurora From N. Ireland! - June 22/23 2015
First time I have seen this in over 18 years of aurora observing! tall aurora beams (rays) extending over 40 degrees tall and visible within the intense twilight arch of the N sky above Maghera, N. Ireland on June 22/23 2015. This is a short time lapse with my Canon 600D with 10mm lens, you can see the purple beams moving against the twilight. Amazing to get this at all at this latitude during summer!, time lapse will look best if slowed down a little.
