Residents in Shanghai, China, were forced to do a COVID-19 test at night on March 15 after there were two positive cases in their compound.

Footage shows medical workers in protective clothing taking the temperature of residents queuing for their tests.

The residents in the compound where there were two positive cases will have to quarantine for 14 days.

The video shows residents crowded at entrance of their residential building to queue for getting COVID test in Shanghai, China.

It’s reported that at least two people in the residential compound has been tested positive and thus the whole area was isolated from yesterday and will continue the isolation for another 12 days.

The testing is just an epitome of a larger outbreak that caused an increasing number of confirmed cases of corona virus in Shanghai.

So far there’re 675 confirmed cases in Shanghai and the recent outbreak has been reported to be related to authority’s management oversight in earlier March when passengers arriving in Shanghai from Hong Kong were quarantined in a hotel with central ventilation which caused staffs infected.
