This clip, which was filmed on April 14, shows a man embroidering at a makeshift hospital in China.

According to the person who captured the video, the man, a construction worker, brought the kit to the hospital as a way to relax and kill time.
Watching him decorate with needlework has been very beneficial to other patients as well.

The lockdown in Shanghai began on March 28. Hundreds of citizens have been transferred to temporary hospitals.

Recent footage published on social media shows clashes between Shangai residents and hazmat-suited police. Chinese people are protesting against harsh COVID-19 measures and the lack of food supplies.

It has been reported that people are being forced to leave their homes to go to quarantine facilities and that local authorities have turned some residential buildings into quarantine venues.
