A Chinese doctor was spotted drawing city landmarks of Shanghai and Hangzhou with a marker pen at a makeshift hospital in Shanghai during the city's lockdown.

The doctor named Huang Jingjing, drew on the cabin board of patients' resting area, the image of the Broken Bridge of the West Lake in Hangzhou, and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Shanghai.

The drawings were to symbolise that Hangzhou and Shanghai were "breathing the same air and sharing the same responsibility."

Since the doctor’s arrival in Shanghai from Hangzhou on April 3, her team has been helping more than 1,000 patients.

The lockdown in Shanghai has continued for about a month and hundreds of citizens have been transferred to the makeshift hospitals that were originally stadiums and warehouses.

The video was filmed on April 10 and provided by local media with permission.
