Dozens of trucks from China's Anhui Province delivered 1,000 tonnes of supplies to support Shanghai on March 30 during its COVID-19 lockdown.

Forty-one trucks carrying 1,000 tonnes of more than 40 kinds of vegetables and agricultural and sideline products including, Chinese cabbages, carrots, cucumbers, onions and potatoes drove from Fuyang City in Anhui Province to Shanghai City.

The supplies were worth around 4,000,000 yuan (£480,000).

According to reports, local authorities have decided to divide Shanghai in half for a two-part lockdown, using the Huangpu River as a dividing point.

3月30日下午三时许，安徽阜阳41辆货车满载1000吨物资出发驰援上海。据了解，这批物资包括四季青、大白菜、胡萝卜、黄瓜、洋葱、土豆等40余种蔬菜、农副土特产，价值400万元左右。阜阳市相关部门专门组织对运输驾驶员开展防疫知识教育并指导其做好防疫措施，对物资运抵后的交接、驾驶员防疫及车辆回程后的消杀等工作做全程指导。阜阳市公安局交警支队派出两部警车全程为运输车队开道护航，并协调沿线交管部门给予“绿色通道”便利，确保物资尽快运抵上海市徐汇区、松江区。
31日凌晨4时30分，阜阳1000吨生鲜蔬菜农副产品，已经抵达上海，运输物资车辆在上海松江区卸货。（视频由安徽台提供）
