Creepy scene as driverless vehicle moves across road and hits tree in China
This was the creepy moment a driverless vehicle appeared to start itself and move across a road before hitting a tree in southern China.
In CCTV footage captured in Dianjiang, Chongqing, the driver pulled over the vehicle, got out and walked across the street.
Later, the electric vehicle appeared to start itself and begin to slide by itself almost hitting an oncoming car.
The vehicle then made its way across the road before hitting a tree.
The owner heard the sound and came out to find the vehicle somehow moved by itself towards the shop.
According to the motorist, there may have been a problem with the vehicle's circuit, but it was weird that it accurately crossed the road and stopped in front of the shop.
The video was filmed on April 26 and provided by local media with permission.
