Large iron door collapses onto children and pet dog in China
Distressing footage shows the moment a large iron door collapsed and fell onto two children and a pet dog in central China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Kaifeng in Henan Province on May 5 shows a door suddenly collapsing after a boy pulled it open.
The scared boy ran away to ask for help from adults, while the dog and a girl trapped under the door crawled out by themselves.
A man then lifted the door up to free the other girl trapped underneath.
The boy's mother Ms Li said it was windy on that day and the screws were not fixed properly on the doors. When the boy attempted to open the door, it fell down.
Li was not at home when the incident happened.
Fortunately, the children were not injured after being assessed at a hospital.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
