This is the moment a huge python regurgitated a family's pet cat while being captured in Thailand.

The terrified residents called the rescue team after finding the large snake crawling under his home in Samut Prakan province on April 29.

Animal control officer Paisal Srisawat and his team arrived at the man's home and found the giant snake lying still among some dry leaves, its stomach bulging from its last meal.

As they dragged the python out, the creature extended its jaws and ejected the dead feline from its body. Nauseating footage shows how the cat, still covered in digestive fluids, easily slipped out from the snake's mouth.

The team caught the predator using their tools and placed it inside a plastic bucket before releasing it somewhere far away from the village.

Paisal said: 'The homeowner has many pet cats and some of them have recently disappeared. We believe the cat that came out from the snake's body belonged to the homeowner.

'I want this to be a lesson for chicken and cat owners to always watch out for snakes. The creature can sense where its prey is and will eat it. '
