A pole-dancing policewoman dubbed the 'world’s sexiest cop' has continued with her kinky hobby - despite complaints from conservative colleagues.

Kate Hsiao, 25, was already a patrol officer at Luzhou police station in New Taipei City when she started taking pole dance classes during in her free time last year.

The beautiful cop records her dance rehearsals while wearing sexy high-heels and skimpy clothing. She quickly became popular online with followers saying she is the 'hottest cop they ever saw'.

Follower Li Chan said: 'I'm proud that my country has the world's most beautiful policewoman.'

Another user added: 'This is good for the police force. It helps people to see that they are real people and improve the relationship with the public.'

However, the passionate dancer could face disciplinary actions after a senior officer reported her for misconduct at work, alleging that she takes inappropriate pictures while on duty.

She said: ‘That’s not true because I only do my hobbies at home. Is it illegal to take selfies during work hours? Isn’t that too harsh when it didn’t affect my work?’

The dancing cop added that she was even willing on several occasions to work on holidays to help victims of sexual assault.

Kate said: ‘I was willing on many occasions to help victims of sexual assault and worked during the holidays. Dancing helps me become a good person. If you don’t like my posts, then block me Mr Senior Officer and make yourself feel better.’

Her police work, however, has continued despite some complaints from conservative colleagues, as she is currently assigned to patrol their area and investigate cases.

The passionate young dancer said she would continue dancing as she was confident that the committee’s verdict would be in her favor.

She said: ‘I discovered my passion for dancing while I was still in school after studying Chinese Classical and international dance but never thought that my hobby would gain me popularity.

‘I’m just happy that people are loving what I do, because that would mean that. I am doing the right thing. That’s why I’m confident that the committee would not find anything wrong about what I was doing.’
