A wild boar in east India continues to visit a local man who befriended it as a piglet in this heartwarming video.

The boar was filmed on May 19th in a village in Malkangiri district, Odisha, as footage shows local man Mahendra Patra and Raju, the name given to the wild swine.

Patra reportedly discovered Raju as a piglet nearly 20 years ago during a major flood in the area and cared for him in his own home. When the boar became a little older, Patra released him into the forest.

However, Raju continued to visit the area around Patra's house and in village lanes, but never harmed any one.

Raju is fed coconuts, bananas, biscuits, rice, bread and other foods by Patra.

A wild boar found to be bound in human love. We are talking about the relationship between a wild Boar and a human being in an adjacent village of the Jagannath Temple in the Malkangiri district of Odisha, an Eastern state of India , which creates an example to human society. In today’s busiest society, people don’t have time to talk to human beings , while love and affection are rare to happen.
However, the affair of Mahendra Patra and Raju (a wild boar) at Jagannath Temple village in Malkangiri district has taken everyone to surprise. Although Raju- the calling name of the wild boar, he behaves like a human. The relation of Mahendra and the boar Raju is so magnetic that even after leaving in the forest, he rushes to his owner very soon when Mahendra calls him at the time to eat. Like human he eats coconuts,bananas , biscuits, rice, breads, etc.
Flash Back- Near about 20 years ago, the area was flooded by torrential rain and hurricane ,Mahendra rescued this baby boar and nourished in his house and affectionately called it as Raju. When the boar- Raju became a little older , Mahendra left him in the forest. But the boar Raju could not forget his life saver’s love and affection. Raju moved around Mahendra’s house and in village lanes, but never harmed any one. Conclusion- At love and affection ,the wildness may also be neutralized.
