An alert cop reacted swiftly to save a woman's life as she was trying to board a moving train in central India's Chhattisgarh.

The incident happened on platform number 1 on May 30 at the Raipur railway station.

The woman was travelling from Bhilai to Durg with her family on the Sarnath Express. She had reportedly gotten down the train to fetch some water when it halted at the station.

But then the train started moving and CCTV footage showed her running towards it.

She then tries to board the moving train but slips in the process. Subsequently, she fell into the gap between the train and platform but was saved by an RPF Constable Manoj.

Manoj pulled her out of the gap between train and platform and ensured her safety. Later, she was seen standing and walking, giving the indication that she was fine.
