The Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon erupted on Sunday, June 5, sending a tall plume of ash kilometers high into the air.

The Philippine Institute on Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said that the eruption was phreatic, occurring when magma heats groundwater or surface water.

The first clip shows ashfall in Irosin, a municipality in Sorsogon near the volcano.
