France: Protests Against Police Brutality After Fatal Shooting Of Young Woman In Paris
Protests against police brutality took place in Paris on Saturday, June 11 to demand changes to the law on weapon usage by the police.
The demonstration was staged following the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman in Paris last week.
The young woman, aged 21 were on their way home rom a nightclub when the driver of the car ignored police orders to stop the car. The driver was later arrested with gunshot wounds after fleeing northern Paris.
