Despite tight security arrangements, railways faced the brunt of army job aspirants for the third consecutive day on Friday in Bihar. The furious mob set railway passenger coaches on fire at different places located in Danapur division of the East Central Railway (ECR ). It was a tough task for the passengers to save their lives after the coaches went into flames.

At Danapur station a strong mob torched three private vehicles including that of Danapur station manager. The infuriated mob damaged railway booking office and fast food track at Danapur station. They pelted stones with the locomotives standing at Danapur platforms and damaged the glass windows, Danapur station manager office said, adding that the mob threw a motorcycle on railway tracks at Danapur platform number 3 to block rail traffic movements completely.
