Overinflated tyre explodes in mechanic's repair shop in Thailand
This is the moment an overinflated tyre exploded during maintenance in a mechanic's repair shop in Thailand.
The wheel belonged to a 10-wheeler truck, and was being pumped by a mechanic at a garage in Chachoengsao province on June 16 when it suddenly exploded, startling everyone who heard the blast.
Footage shows how the heavy tyre flipped several inches off the ground and sent out a jet of pressurised air.
No one was reported hurt as the mechanics were staying some distance away from the wheel.
