A man was stunned after his girlfriend surprised him on his birthday with a bucket list trip to see the Golden State Warriors at their home stadium over 5,000 miles away. Funso Foluso-Henry, 25, decided to treat boyfriend Pedro Luis Edu Nkulu with this dream trip for his 30th birthday. To keep it a surprise, Funso told her boyfriend to pack a mixture of warm and cold weather clothes, and made sure the airport staff knew to not reveal the final destination. Funso eventually revealed the destination as the pair sat down in the food court at Heathrow airport. The video shows Pedro's emotional reaction as Funso hands him the trip itinerary. Pedro’s close family and friends know just how obsessed he is with basketball and the Golden State Warriors, so Funso decided to splash out on the trip of a lifetime. Model and actor Funso, who spent over £6,000 on the gift, said: “I went into peak girlfriend mode and organised the trip as soon as I saw the Warriors were playing a game on 7th April - his birthday. “I really love this man. It's not been an easy journey at all for us, but I have truly found someone to both evolve and build with, which I don't take for granted.” The couple travelled from their hometown of London, to San Franciso, California, for a one-week trip to celebrate. The rest of the footage shows Pedro’s amazing reaction to seeing his dream city and attending a Warriors' game. Pedro, a DJ and radio presenter, was absolutely thrilled with the gift. He said: “It was unreal. I can’t believe I finally get to tick ‘watch a Warriors game at Chase Center arena’ off my bucket list!”
