A kitten was rescued after getting stuck between two wheels on the back of a truck.

Eagle-eyed driver Apisak noticed the baby cat while she was driving behind the vehicle carrying construction equipment in Bangkok, Thailand.

The feline was wedged in the tiny gap between two large tires and it was spinning around like it was stuck on a hamster wheel.

Apisak alerted the driver who pulled over and removed the kitten. The motorist then took the moggy home with her to keep as a pet.

She said: 'I wasn't sure what it was at first stuck between the wheel but when I drove closer I could see it was a kitten. I was worried the kitten could be hurt if it stayed there so I quickly told the driver to stop. We removed her and I took her home to clean and give food.'

The kitten is believed to have climbed into the wheels while the lorry was parked on a nearby construction site.
