Police officers rescued a woman trapped in her car that was submerged by floods in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Yingde in Guangdong Province on June 21 shows police officers holding a rope and an iron chain to move forward in the rapid floodwater.

Police officers were seen falling down into the floodwater when struggling to make it to the woman's vehicle.

Finally, a police officer approached the car and tied a rope around a woman trapped inside. Other police officers then helped take the woman onto a truck and brought her back to safety.

6月21日上午10时，广东英德市公安局大站派出所接一女士报警，称因洪水太大自己被困车中，情况极其危险。
大站派出所立即组织五名警力前往救援，现场洪水流速快水位高，民辅警只能徒步涉水前往，到达女士被困车辆附近时，因洪水强劲将，救援期间多位民警被水流冲倒，所幸有前期系在半挂车上的固定绳索，民警紧抓绳索又爬起继续进行援救工作。最终，一位民警成功接近车辆，将绳索捆在女士腰间，然后其他民警一起将两人拉回半挂车旁，被困女士成功脱险。随后，女士被转移至安全地带。（视频由广东台提供）
