'Little Amal' the Syrian refugee puppet returns to London for World Refugee Week

Little Amal, a giant puppet that represents a 10-year-old Syrian child, returns to London's Southbank for World Refugee Week (June 25). She joined rapper Lowkey and singer Kaia Laurielle for music and dancing outside the Royal Festival Hall.

Not-so-little Amal, stands at 3.5m tall and is made by the company behind War Horse, the Handspring Puppet Company and travelled last year through Syria and Europe, and ended her journey in the UK, aiming to raise awareness on the needs of young refugees.
