A furious altercation broke out in Sheffield in the UK recently after a cyclist questioned a motorist's driving.

Footage captured from the helmet camera of cyclist Dan Newberry on April 22 shows a driver pulling out of Ashdell Road onto Fullwood Road in front of him.

Newberry calls out the road user but gets more than he bargained for when a furious driver of a nearby white van rushes over to join the row.

"I've just watched you mouthing off," says the enraged driver.

"Just get on your bike and drive!" he adds.

The unidentified man then complains to the cyclist that the rules are stacked unfairly towards those on bikes.

"It is more than a little concerning that someone who is paid to drive for a living has these kinds of attitudes about cyclists," added Newberry.

In this video, a cyclist calls out a driver who was not looking and did not give way to an oncoming cyclist. A white van driver, who was loading materials onto the back of their truck, begins aggressively berating the cyclist. He rants and raves at me, and then shared some dangerous and discriminatory opinions about cyclists. It is more than a little concerning that someone who is paid to drive for a living has these kinds of attitudes about cyclists, especially when they drive a large vehicle which would cause a serious injury to a vulnerable road user.
