Drone footage reveals the destruction caused by a deadly missile strike near Odesa, southern Ukraine, as the death toll rises to 20.

Exclusive clips from the ground captured on Friday (July 1) feature the filmer walking through apartments that were blown out by the strike. The bodies of a cat and dog are seen amongst the rubble.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine also shared aerial visuals of the nine-storey building in Serhiivka that was struck by a Russian missile on Friday.

Twenty people were killed in the blast including two children, according to the emergency service.

Enemy missiles hit high-rise buildings and recreation centers in the resort village of Sergeevka. Debris clearing continues.The department clarified that 37 victims were residents of a multi-storey building, including 6 children. Another victim was at the recreation center.
All 38 people were taken to the hospital.
In addition, 8 people were saved, including 3 children (7 people - a residential building, of which 3 children and 1 person - a recreation center).
In total, 112 people and 16 pieces of equipment were involved in the work from the State Emergency Service. Debris clearing continues.
