Footage shows how a train runs through a market as vendors frantically clear fresh food and parasols from tracks.

Sellers at the outdoor fresh food market in Myanmar have to clear their goods twice a day - first when a locomotive leaves in the morning at 6am and again later in the afternoon when a vehicle returns.

Locals said that the area of Mandalay had once been full of markets but they have gradually disappeared. One of the few remaining is the Thaye Market, which means 'Hero Market', as it once the home of Burmese soldiers.

The market opens early in the morning around 5 am and the train usually passes through the market around 6 am. It is said that the train goes through the market twice a day. It is also known as the second-largest market located in Mandalay.
