A herd of water buffalo walked to close to my camera, one of them was eating everything in sight and seemed to have his eyes on my tripod legs!

As I was filming a herd of buffalo on a quiet country road in northern Thailand, I was horrified to see how close one of them came to my camera, see the inlaid photos for more detail in my video. I had hidden the camera just inside the gate of the farmyard where I was staying. Then one of them started munching some weeds right next to my tripod! I was expecting him to knock it down and start munching on it too. The silver lining for me as a photographer here was that I got a very closeup shot video of these beasts and you can also hear the very loud munching sounds. At one stage he stared at me and stuck out his tongue! This is a snapshot of life in rural Thailand.
