A 12-year-old was shot in north Houston, Texas, US, yesterday afternoon (October 21). at around 6.25 pm local time. The incident took place in the 6000 block of Velma Lane.

A 22-year-old man, who is believed to be a relative of the victim, is being questioned by the police.

The police reported that the man was possibly playing with the gun before it accidentally went off, but it is still too early to determine
if the shooting was accidental or not.
